Living The Dream: a guide to the mental universe, and self discovery

A single seed contains an entire forest.
Be careful what you plant, for it will soon surround you.
Plant seeds of peace and joy, and you will soon find yourself surrounded by a forest of love and bliss.
Plant seeds of violence and anger, and you will soon find yourself surrounded by a forest hate and pain.
You reap what you sow.

Those who do not ask the questions are incapable of finding the answers.
Those who do not look for wisdom are incapable of seeing truth.
When the blind are lead by the blind, we all march off the cliff.
Only you can find your truth, only you can walk your path.

In our modern world, in our pursuit for the newest and greatest thing, we pay little attention to the effect we have on our world around us. Our consumer mindset drives us into a never ending spiral of production, consumption, and destruction. We are never quite satisfied with what we have, as there is always a new product being released promising to be bigger and better than we could possibly imagine. But the consumer mentality is only half of the problem, corporations thrive on the people’s desire to fit in, and be accepted by their peers. Pushing their products as a status symbol, that must be obtained if you are ever to consider yourself “whole”. Acting as if our peace of mind is completely dependent on whether or not we have the latest iphone.
But perhaps even more disturbing is the fact that many things are designed to fail, built to last for a short period and need replacing, ensuring that the consumption continues. What is the economic incentive for Duracell to sell rechargeable batteries? Instead of an endless cycle of people needing batteries, they simply need to buy it one time, and then they are not a returning customer. Meanwhile batteries must undergo a special process just to be disposed of, and that is under the best of circumstances, many people will simply toss them in the trash and they will end up in a landfill somewhere

The Nature Of Reality: Conscious Evolution

2/17/2014

Every truth is only half true. Every truth has its absolute truth and its relative truth, but there is a difference between absolute truth and relative truth and they often contradict each-other.  The key to understanding the great teachers and spiritual leaders of the past is being able to discern when they are speaking from an absolute perspective of a relative perspective. The relative truth about the nature of reality, the truth we experience and are familiar with, is that the universe is very real and physical place, and it is true statement. But the absolute truth, experienced by what we would call God, is that the universe IS a mental construction existing only within the realms of consciousness, and this is also a true statement despite their contradiction. Many people get lost in half truths, by not understanding the difference between absolute and relative truth. It’s about finding the middle path and being aware of both the absolute and relative.

The Universe Is A Manifestation Of Yourself (Short Film)

Your body is a creation of your mind, your world is a creation of your thoughts, and our universe is the collective creation of independent "bubbles" of consciousness, contained within the mind of "God". There is no "out there", out there. The mind, the consciousness, and the soul are not contained within the body, the planet, and the universe. The body, the planet, and the universe are contained within the mind, the consciousness, and the soul.
You are the eternal consciousness that is the source of all consciousness, experiencing life though the filter, the lens, of the experiences you are exposed to in this temporary experience, this mental construction, where you have forgotten that you are the very force animating the world around you, the characters you interact with, and the experiences you have. I am you experiencing life through my eyes; you are me experiencing life through your eyes. Together we explore this holographic, meditative, mental universe exiting only within the one consciousness that is within all consciousness.

Fracking Vs. The  Environment (Short Film)

Living in a world powered by electricity, with ever diminishing sources of fuel, the question of whether or not to embrace environmentally hazardous methods of producing new energy sources continues to grow.  Methods like hydraulic fracturing commonly referred to as fraking, have grown more prominent in Texas, the United States, and around the world.  In 2003 a natural gas company based in Fort Worth Texas, called Range Resources, was among the pioneers of Hydraulic Fracturing. Marcellus Shale a promising deposit of natural gas in Pennsylvania had been previously inaccessible by conventional methods, however geologists long believed that trapped within the shale were large amounts of natural gas, entombed in the rocks for thousands of years. Hoping to tap into this large deposit of natural gas, Range Resources turned to a new method of extraction, hydraulic fracturing.

The Truth Behind The Energy Lie (full movie)

If a civilization truly wishes to consider itself civilized, it must embrace all technological and scientific advances. The suppression of any technological advance, can not be tolerated if we wish to be a 'civil'ization. we must ask ourselves if we are working for the benefit of all mankind, or working for the benefit of a few businessman and politicians. The fact that we are unnecessarily poisoning our planet, our home, when their are numerous solutions, raises several questions as to why these technologies are being suppressed. The root of the problem is almost entirely one thing, greed. We as a society can no longer focus our entire efforts into what is profitable, because what is profitable is not always right, and what is right is not always profitable.

Pressure Turns Coal Into Diamonds

Picture
When its seems like the burden is far to large or to heavy to carry, always remember....

Pressure turns coal into diamonds,
There is a rainbow after the heaviest rains,
It takes a cocoon to turn a caterpillar into a butterfly,
Beautiful flowers grow out of the dirt,
Forest fires germinate seeds and create new life,
The universe started with an explosion,
and you are the result of all that has happened to you.

Sometimes life has to be a little rough, to polish and shape us into our purest form. So embrace the pressure, embrace the flames. Let them shape you, let them mold you, into something new and beautiful. Let the impurities melt away, and you will be left with only the purest , most beautiful parts of yourself. The largest burdens are placed on those who are most capable of carrying them.

The Puzzle Pieces Of Spirituality

God speaks every language and every dialect, to every person in every culture. God uses men and women from around the world and all throughout history to teach us more about both our own true nature and the nature of existence. Differences between cultures have caused many different descriptions in the religious texts of humanity. Religious and spiritual texts should not be viewed as competing doctrines vying for your devotion, but as guides to help you walk the path only you can walk. Our personifications of "God" may differ, but they are all, in truth, describing the same God.
God is not concerned with what book you read that helped you to know him; God does not care what name you give him, or what religion you claim as your own. You are not punished for not knowing God, and there is no devil after your soul. What believe in God brings, is not salvation, and is understanding and wisdom. It does not matter how you come to know God, what matters is that you know God. But the salvation or damnation of your soul is not dependent on believe in God, because your soul was never at stake. All religions and sciences are different puzzle pieces of the same puzzle. What is gained from believe in God is a greater understanding of yourself, the world, and the universe. You will not be punished for not believing in God, there is no hell (besides the hell your mind creates) but there is reward in believing....the reward is not "heaven", the reward is wisdom, understanding, peace, and love.
